My prices reflect the immense skill and time involved in producing a completely bespoke work. If you would like to commission a drawing that does not easily fit within the descriptions below, (e.g a different paper size, number of individuals or subject) please do let me know and I can give you a specific price. 

These prices cover portraits of a subject with no background. If the background is integral to the picture and you would like it included, this will cost a little more. I can discuss this with you.

Question: I have more than one child - should I commission a group portrait or several individual ones?

If you would like to commission portraits of a number of siblings, you can commission a group portrait or individual drawings of each child.

One point to consider is whether you would like the family portraits to be passed down through the generations and, if so, who would inherit the picture if it is of a group. You may prefer each child to inherit their own picture.

You will also want to think about where the picture(s) will be hung. A line of individual portraits can look very effective on a large wall or in a hallway. Individual portraits can also be hung separately in each child's bedroom, for example. If you have a single space in mind for your picture, a group portrait may be more appropriate.
